God is LOVE

Abraham and Isaac

Brothers, who is our father Ibrahim/Abraham?

He is the founding patriarch of the Israelites and his Son Ishmael was father of Arab nation.

In both the Jewish tradition and the Quran, he is referred to as “our Father”.

Abraham’s name first appears as Abram, meaning either “exalted father” or “my father is exalted”.. Later in Genesis God renamed him Abraham- “father of many (nations)”.

So, Jews and Arabs are brothers according to Qur’an and the Holy Bible.

Our father Abraham/Ibrahim was called by God as a friend of God in the Bible.

But why? Let’s find it out today.

Abraham was commanded by God to offer his son up as a sacrifice in the land of Moriah.

Ibrahim traveled three days until he came to the mount that God taught him. He commanded the servant to remain while he and Isaac proceeded alone to the mountain, Isaac carrying the wood upon which he would be sacrificed.

Let’s read about it:

Genesis 22 (New King James Version)

Genesis 22

Abraham’s Faith Confirmed

1 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”
6 So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. 7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”
And he said, “Here I am, my son.”
Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.
9 Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
11 But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!”
So he said, “Here I am.”
12 And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”
15 Then the Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— 17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” 19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.

The Family of Nahor

20 Now it came to pass after these things that it was told Abraham, saying, “Indeed Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor: 21 Huz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram, 22 Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.” 23 And Bethuel begot Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother. 24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah, Gaham, Thahash, and Maachah.

What kind of a benevolent God would tell a father to kill his son?!  We can also think how benevolent could God be,

if Abraham was too terrorized to complain?!

But was this God, who claimed to be LOVE, going to kill a child?

Did Ibrahim feel fear and guilt for what he was to do, but this was a cruel test to see how far he would go. Why God did want to test Ibrahim?

Because God expects FAITH from us.

God talked to Ibrahim and he was able to hear God’s voice. But what is the result of KNOWING God?

Will you OBEY Him or will you do what you want?

Will you ACT as a genuine Christian or will you sleep with your girl-friends, forgetting the grace of God toward you?

What is the RESULT of being religious if you do NOT obey God? If you do not APPLY all what He says?

ONLY FAITH is all what God expects from us.

But DEEP FAITH revealed in ACTION and COMMITMENT of our hearts.

If your FAITH, which is like communication line with God, will keep you on the Way of God then you will be kept safely by God. Because you will be governed by His LAWS and His GOOD Will toward you. If you will prefer the WIDE WAY of sins and destruction, then your world will be full with your girl-friends and there will be NO PLACE for God. Because your sins are just unacceptable for God. He cannot ABIDE in the midst of your sins and crimes and bloodshed!

TURN from your sins. Turn to God. Confess your sins to God. Abandon your sins and it will be REPENTANCE. Put your FAITH in God Jesus because He is the SON of God and EQUAL to this almighty God who was called God of our father Ibrahim. God Jesus created the universe and people.

FAITH in God Jesus is the ONLY Way to God Father.

Jesus took your sins to His HOLY body on the cross to make you FREE of sins, iniquities and crimes. So, like this ram, God GAVE HIS SON Jesus as a SACRIFICE.

If a man is able to give to God EVERYTHING, God also GAVE us EVERYTHING:

His beloved Son Jesus.

Jesus was killed instead of me.

He was a sacrifice given by God for me,

every Muslims and Arab.

Our God did not ONLY accept our offerings and sacrifices but He, being the SUPREME Being, offered us SALVATION, FORGIVENESS of our sins, FUTURE, His Kingdom, ADOPTION into His family, PROTECTION, GUARANTY already now that we are saved by Him and forgiven and that we are holy as He God Jesus is HOLY.

Sacrifices were offered to God to get forgiveness of sins.

But God HELPED us to be cleansed of our sins. We were unable to be righteous people in our own strength.

And He OFFERED us a SACRIFICE to BE FORGIVEN of all sins we have ever committed.

This sacrifice of God is HIS Son Jesus.

Such is PROFOUND LOVE of God.

Ibrahim was just about to put the knife to his son when an angel of the Lord stopped him.

But God OFFERED His Son as the ONLY Way of forgiveness.

God ALLOWED His Son to be killed by unbelievers.

It was a sacrifice of God.

A sacrifice of LOVE.

If Ibrahim loved God, God PROVED us His LOVE also by sending us His Son Jesus to the earth.

This is the TRUE LOVE of the TRUE God of LOVE.

But are you saved by God Jesus?

Are you born by God for eternal life?

God Jesus said that only the ‘born again’ or ‘born by God’ people will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Are you among them?

Hebrews 11 (New King James Version)

Hebrews 11

By Faith We Understand

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

Faith at the Dawn of History

4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Faithful Abraham

8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

The Heavenly Hope

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

The Faith of the Patriarchs

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” 19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.
20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.

The Faith of Moses

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.
24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

By Faith They Overcame

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.
32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again.
Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. 36 Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— 38 of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

God Jesus said:

“And behold,

I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me,

to give to every one according to his work.

I am the Alpha and the Omega,

the Beginning and the End,

the First and the Last.”
Blessed are those who do His commandments,

that they may have the right to the tree of life,

and may enter through the gates into the city.

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters,

and whoever loves and practices a lie.
“I, Jesus,

have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches.

I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

Arabs and Muslims,

Brothers, Islam and the Bible call Jesus as Kalimat-Ullah- WORD of Allah!

Will you reject God by rejecting His SON?

Look if you will reject Son, it means you dont believe in His Father Allah. It means you are AGAINST Allah.
Islam came later after prophecies of Allah already existed that His Son Jesus will save the world from sins. So, what is Islam? ONE of religions. Look brother, there are millions religions and all they worship millions of gods which are called by God of Ibrahim as IDOLS.

Way for people worshiping idols is hell. Islam is among them. Why? Because Islam makes God of our father Ibrahim a LIAR by claiming that there is NO Son of God. Islam is closing eyes of Muslims to the words of Allah. Which man on the earth is able to BEAR INIQUITIES of the world? Sins of people? How SERVANT can JUSTIFY many people? It is impossible for a man. But only for God! We worship perfect God. He DIED instead on us. His name is the most perfect – Jesus….Isa Ibn Allah…Isa Allah…Issa Al Massih. And He is God of our father Ibrahim. Turn from sins to HIM and LIVE eternally as son of God!

Be saved right NOW

How to LIVE with God Jesus?

2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, PERFECTING HOLINESS IN THE FEAR OF GOD.

Questions and Answers

How do you stay focused on what God has called you to do?

This is an interesting question as it begs the question, ‘What is God calling me to do now?’ To some it might be specific, say a calling to teach English at a particular institute. To others it might simply be a calling to a country. And to others still, it may be a calling to Arab Muslims wherever they are. Speaking personally, I would say that God has called me to be involved in ministry to Arab Muslims in some capacity, but that can change over time as opportunities, my experience, or my family’s needs change.

In a nutshell, I would say that the answer to this is to remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit – to remain in a ministry that God wants you to leave is not better than leaving something that God wants you to remain in because it is hard.

If I’m honest, with difficulty. We are pulled in many directions – my husband’s job, the boys’ school friends (and their parents), the ex-pat community (especially those in our building), and team life, which also takes time. We are now in a small team – with just one other couple – which is better. We find it very helpful to meet every three to four weeks as a foursome and weekly as single-sex pairs. This is good for accountability, prayer and memorising Arabic Bible verses.

Sometimes I don’t! It can be really difficult because the demands of family, work and chores can take my mind off it. But a long time ago I heard someone pray that we would have God’s eyes to see what He would want us to see – simple and obvious but when I find myself busy I pray that prayer: that whatever I’m doing I won’t be blind to the spiritual state of people around me.

Just by being reminded of God’s promises and call as well as the prayers of an exceptional support team.

By continuing to live in the Arab world and spending time with Arab world colleagues, friends and contacts. Proximity keeps me focused as the task is big and obvious.

God’s grace; a sense of stewardship having learnt Arabic in a place where few have taken the time to learn; the challenge ahead of me; and a desire for God’s glory and fame to be praised by these people.

It’s the same challenge wherever you are!

Have you ever been surprised by an opportunity to share your faith? What happened?

The first one that comes to mind is from a long time ago…

I got into a taxi and the driver immediately began to talk about the importance of being a Muslim. For some reason, I asked him if he was a Muslim, to which he replied, ‘Of course, praise the Lord.’

Then, by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, I asked, ‘And your father, is he a Muslim?’

The driver was quiet as he replied, ‘No, he is a follower of Jesus.’

That surprised me double: first, I don’t know why I asked that question and I never expected that answer. Second, I then got the opportunity to briefly explain the gospel, give a New Testament, and tell the driver that God put me in his taxi so he would know that he needed to talk to his father and know the truth!

Often on meeting a group for the first time, someone feels they should try to convert me to Islam. This is a great opportunity to express why I believe in Jesus and follow Him. Generally, though, it feels like the standard things are thrown out and no one is hearing or responding to anything I say – they are too intent on getting their points across.

Once, after being told I didn’t know how to pray correctly, I shared that I do pray in my own language. I told the group that I was sure God hears and answers my prayers. Later, as I was preparing to leave, one woman took my arm and asked ‘Does God really answer your prayers?’ He listens, he cares, and he answers – what a wonderful promise to share with women who feel so unworthy.

Yes – loads of times! Two examples to show that anything can happen in the Arab world when God leads hungry people to you…

The first: I was on the beach with my wife and parents-in-law on Mouloud (Muhammad’s birthday). The place was deserted because it wasn’t beach season (July and August). My wife was just remarking how nice it was to be having a peaceful time, on our own as a family, when suddenly we saw a figure walking towards us. We watched as he approached; he then came right up to me, asking, ‘Are you a Christian?’ to which I responded, ‘Yes’.

‘Oh good,’ he continued, ‘I was hoping you were, I’ve been looking for an answer to this question for a long time…’

‘What is your question?’ I asked in bewilderment.

‘Tell me,’ he said, ‘what is at the very heart of the Christian religion? What is it really about?’

You can imagine my excitement as I proceeded to do my best, on Mouloud, dressed in nothing but my swimming costume… The Lord has a sense of humour!

The second: And to prove He really does have a sense of humour, the second story involved me sharing the gospel on the high street with a local, who stopped to talk to me because I smiled at the English words on his t-shirt. He couldn’t read in English, and wanted to know why I smiled. The front read, in capital letters: ‘GOD LOVES YOU.’ Underneath: ‘In my Father’s house there are many rooms, I will go to prepare a room for you.’ Having explained that, he asked me to translate the back. It read: ‘Forthouse Evangelical Church. A community of people rejoicing in the grace of God.’ Imagine what an invitation that was!

I was at an outdoor cafe with a friend of mine and had been looking for an opportunity to share naturally for some time. There was a large screen, onto which was being projected the news, and suddenly Osama Bin Laden’s face appeared. I have always found it natural to progress from politics to religion, so this was the first surprise.

I said to my friend ‘You know what Christians think of Osama Bin Laden, don’t you?’ He looked quizzical. I then said that we pray for his salvation and long to see him in heaven. To my greater surprise, he responded by telling me that he had wanted to get hold of a Bible in Arabic for some time and asked if could I help him, which of course I could!

A Muslim from Syria wrote to our church asking to talk to someone who could show him the way to God, since he’d been reading the Bible. I met with him and he was eager to understand the gospels and to embrace Christ.

God who die , doesn”t deserve to be a God,
and God who let people to kill his sun Doesn”t deserve to be a God since he cannot protect his sun.
And God who let his sun to die for the people he doesn”t deserve to be a God,since the true GOD will forgive the people who makes mistakes as soon as they ask forgiveness.
and if he has no ability to forgive that mean he is not God

GOD does not die!!!! God is eternal…GOD is a spirit…Jesus was flesh and blood like us…….He could die……I wish people could get this and understand…….

Niqabbigirl left this message 25 days ago:

Did Jesus lie when he said?

Luke 24:39 (KJV)
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Jesus had flesh and bones….Just like we do….And please read and understand that JESUS SAID: That a Spirit DOES NOT have flesh and bones like he had…And now this is what else Jesus said:

John 4:24 (KJV)
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Now if Jesus said GOD is a Spirit. He was talking about the Father…There is no place in scripture that says GOD the Father had flesh and bones. Jesus had flesh and bones like we have…GOD is made up of something much different that flesh and bones…

So if anyone thnks that GOD died on a cross, they are fooling themselves!!! This did not happen….GOD can not die….GOD is not a man…..HE DOES NOT have flesh and Bones…….

Salam Arun,
I had writtten you a messgae this morning and it never got through..May you be feeling better….

I want to discuss something with everyone that comes here. You know how over in those other countries they stone women and men to death fro adultry. Now you may think that this is the right thing to do..But what does the Bible say about adultry and stoning..

Let us look: This is what Jesus said about the women that committed adultry…Read and learn that stoning someone to death is not what Jesus wants..

John 8:1-11 (KJV)
1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Niqabbigirl: There is a lot more to the Bible than the story about Jesus..There are many lessons on guidance on ones life.

Arun: i know bible

Niqabbigirl: Really? You know Bible?

Arun: yes

Niqabbigirl: Then how can you say you not trust it?

Niqabbigirl: And yet you know it!

Arun: i know Jesus

Niqabbigirl: Do you really? Know the True Jesus?

Niqabbigirl: What is he like Arun?

Arun: dear i not trust in fasted

Niqabbigirl: Jesus fasted 40 days.. Why can you not do the same?

Niqabbigirl: Will you tell that to GOD on Judgment Day that you did not trust a fast?

Arun: why

Niqabbigirl: He humbled himself before the Father…

Arun: i am not a Jesus

Niqabbigirl: Fasting brings the soul closer to GOD.. GOD cares nothing of your flesh,

Niqabbigirl: Jesus is our example on how to live…

Niqabbigirl: We must follow Jesus..

Arun: no

Niqabbigirl: Why do you say no Arun?

Niqabbigirl: We must not bow down to any other gods.

Arun: no bady follow Jesus

Niqabbigirl: Christains follow Jesus..

Arun: no

Niqabbigirl: Everyone must follow Jesus..That is the only way to heaven Arun.

Niqabbigirl: All other ways lead to hell.

Arun: no dear

Niqabbigirl: Eternal hell.

Niqabbigirl: Yes. Arun. Jesus said it. He is the only way..

Niqabbigirl: Nobody can get to GOD but through him.

Niqabbigirl: Does the Geeta say that? How do you get to heaven Arun?

Arun: Jesus say help poor people, help sik people,

Niqabbigirl: Some words of wisdom from the Bible for all readers of this chat…

Niqabbigirl: Proverbs 13:13-25 (KJV)
13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
16 Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
17 A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children”s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

Flood Relief Work in Uttarakhand

September 3, 2010

Gospel for Asia Compassion Services teams are reaching out to flood victims throughout South Asia, including those in Uttarakhand, India. This team was in Pakistan earlier this week.

Gospel for Asia Compassion Services teams fanned out across Uttarakhand, India, to distribute emergency rations to flood victims living in relief camps after massive flooding and landslides destroyed their homes last week.

The fast-moving floods that roared through their villages on August 22 were completely unexpected. Most people had to run for their lives just to escape the rising water and wall of mud descending on them. They weren’t able to salvage anything from their homes.

The floodwaters also uprooted thousands of trees, cut off all communication and washed out roads. The floods ruined more than 100,000 acres of rice fields.

The local government evacuated the residents to temporary shelters in local schools. Gospel for Asia Compassion Services teams met with local officials, asking if they could help the people in the camps. The officials told them the most pressing need was food, so the teams gathered their supplies and went to the various camps.

They distributed emergency relief packages containing rice, potatoes, onions, cooking oil, spices, salt and paper plates to about 3,000 people living in seven different relief camps.

The recipients were so moved by the gesture that many had tears in their eyes.

When the flood victims are able to return home, the missionaries who work in that area will tend to their needs and help them rebuild their lives.

Discovering True Peace in a Tropical Paradise

December 18, 2008

Alok grew up in a state known for serene natural beauty as a tropical paradise, but lacked peace until he encountered the Creator of that beauty.

The village Alok grew up in was filled with lush valleys, rivers and mountains. The scenic natural beauty of this place in Goa, India, lay in stark contrast to the difficulty and unrest Alok experienced before knowing Christ.

Alok and his many siblings grew up in poverty. It didn’t help that their father was helpless to properly care for the family because of his alcohol addiction. Alok would later experience the death of his father as just a young man.

Alok lost two older brothers as well due to lack of proper medical treatment for their illnesses. Despite the difficulties he experienced in his home life, Alok somehow managed to complete tenth grade, considered high school graduation in India. Then he went to a technical college to learn welding.

By then, Alok’s lack of proper role models was taking its toll. He ended up being expelled from college for bad behavior. He later began working for the same company one of his brothers worked for.

One might think things would start to get better for Alok—at least on the surface. But he started being haunted by a constant, bizarre fear. Filled with anguish and unable to cope with it, he finally confided in his manager. This man was a Christian, and he encouraged Alok to say the name of Jesus when he was afraid.

Alok decided he should at least give his manager’s advice a try. And to his amazement, it worked! Whenever Alok called on the name of Jesus, he sensed God’s presence, and his fear left him.

During this time, Alok’s manager, as well as others, spoke with the young man about Jesus’ love. God used their faithful witness in Alok’s life, and he received Christ as his Savior. He began attending a local church and was soon growing considerably in the Lord as he read his Bible and prayed every day.

The Lord allowed Alok to endure some more struggles even after he became a Christian, but he used all these things to reveal His purpose for Alok’s life.

First, Alok’s attempt at starting a business ended in great loss. Then his pastor helped him find work as a bus conductor, which he did for about a year before moving on. He then became a fisherman—a common occupation in Goa.

Alok was restless, finding no satisfaction in any of the jobs, but God was working to make his call clear on Alok’s life. Around this time, Alok’s pastor suggested that he might find what he was looking for at a GFA Bible college in Goa.

Despite not having the support of his family, Alok did well in his studies, and in 2000 he graduated and went on to the mission field in his native state. And by God’s grace, Alok was leading a thriving church a few years later.

The Lord also brought into Alok’s life a godly spouse, Sarita, who is just as committed to the ministry as he is. She helps him and works among the women, teaching them weekly from God’s Word and leading regular meetings for fasting and prayer. She also encourages new believers and joins other women for outreach in the community. Together, Alok and Sarita serve the Lord in Goa, pointing others to the peace they’ve found in Him.

Family Finds Jesus in the Hospital

December 10, 2008

Through the persistent outreach of missionaries like this one, lives are being transformed in Asia.

Jayawanth and Kalpana’s alcoholic son, Shaman, had a notorious reputation in the village. It was not uncommon for the couple to hear bad reports concerning him.

Shaman would drink alcohol throughout the day and evening, and would often fight with family members and neighbors.

When he ran out of money to feed his addiction, he began stealing from the neighbors’ homes. On many occasions, people caught him and severely beat him. Still, no one could control Shaman’s behavior.

One day, while in a drunken state, Shaman picked a fight with some people in the village. But these people decided they’d had enough, and in a fit of rage, they beat him very badly, leaving him in a heap in an isolated place.

When Shaman did not show up at home that evening, his parents worried. With the help of some villagers, they finally found him, covered with blood. Jayawanth and Kalpana gathered their injured son and immediately brought him to the hospital.

When the men who had beaten Shaman received word that his parents had taken him to the hospital, they sought them out and beat them, too.

They were admitted to the hospital along with their son.

Lying in the hospital, the couple reached what may well have been an all-time low. They knew they had no money for their medical expenses, and their injuries were so severe that they had lost hope of recovering.

Then Sujin, a Gospel for Asia missionary, visited the distressed couple, sharing about God’s love. Despite detecting no positive response from them, Sujin didn’t give up on the couple. He visited again, clearly explaining the Gospel to them. God was softening Jayawanth’s and Kalpana’s hearts, and by Sujin’s third visit, they said that they wanted to receive Christ.

Within a few days, God had miraculously healed them and their son. It was another step in opening the couple’s hearts, and they openly received Jesus Christ.

Pray that Jayawanth and Kalpana grow closer to their Savior every day. Pray especially for the salvation and total deliverance of their son, Shaman. And please pray God will continue to work greatly through Sujin’s ministry.

The Tumor Is Gone

July 25, 2007

Andhra Pradesh.

Chaitanya serves a congregation of believers like this one in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Chaitanya John pastors a GFA-affiliated church in Andhra Pradesh, India. He and his wife Achala have been married for eight years and have been praying for quite some time that the Lord would bless them with a child. In early 2007 Achala conceived, but a doctor’s appointment soon after revealed that Achala had tumors in her womb. This led to a miscarriage.

Grieved and discouraged, Chaitanya and Achala admitted that they sometimes wondered if they would ever have children, but they did not give up hope.

“We knew that our Lord, who was there with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace, could also help us in our time of need,” said Chaitanya.

Chaitanya and Achala asked all the believers in their church, and all the pastors they knew, to join with them in prayer for Achala’s healing. One night while she was sleeping, Achala heard a voice tell her that the tumors were gone, and that she was healed. So Chaitanya and Achala went to the doctor again who confirmed that the tumors were gone. The Lord had answered their prayers. As a result of this miracle many of the villagers, who had once mocked the couple for being childless, were amazed. Suddenly, they were open to knowing about Jesus Christ.

“We knew that our Lord, who was there with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace, could also help us in our time of need.” said Chaitanya.

Chaitanya and Achala rejoice at the Lord’s work in their lives, that He is not only taking care of them, but using their lives to draw others to Jesus. Chaitanya asks for prayer that the Lord will keep Achala in good health and that He will give them a child, and also that the Lord’s name will continue to be honored and lifted high in this community.

Are you forgiven by God in Islam? Are you SURE that Allah forgave you ALL your sins? Or may be you are just going to hell by following Islam?!
Who is God of our father Ibrahim? God is LOVE

Why do we look for God in Islam and in the Bible?

Are you seeking spiritual guidance and direction in your life?

We urge you to consider why the Bible is the best source of spiritual guidance and direction. Words of God found in the Gospel of Christ (Injil), can answer your questions about LIFE and the meaning of life. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Because Everyone Needs to Know God!

Brothers, we will read today below the prophecy of prophet Joel. Joel here describes the final gather of the nations in rebellion against God at the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:12-16). There is no place in Israel known as the Valley of Jehosphaphat yet but the name Jehoshaphat means, ‘The Lord Judges.’ It describes God’s place of judgment.. This is a judgment of all nations.

Whay is your fault, righteous muslim? Disbelief in god Jesus is your Condemnation. Why Jesus was called as an Angel of God?

So, as we know the Jewish people the same way as Arabs claim to believe in ONE God. So, let’s continue considering why also Christians believe in ONE God. We base our FAITH on the Scripture alone.

The Day of Judgement is Coming. Look into the eyes of God already NOW!

Brothers, today I have had a conversation with a Muslim woman. She is not looking for God. She is content with her life as a nominal Muslim. Why a nominal Muslim?

Who is He who is going to JUDGE me?
He is LOVE and He DIED instead of you to GIVE you eternal LIFE.

let’s consider today some of very important issues. Who is the Son of God?
Let me answer to the question of my sister…

Your Glorious Destination. In the Kingdom of your FATHER.

Let’s try to find answers to the following questions:

Are you saved? From what shoud we be saved?

What does it mean to be justified? How real the Heaven and hell is? Why should we enter into hell?

Let’s unwrap these things.

Thank YOU, dear God!

Thank u, dear God, for helping me to pass my exam for driver lisence. Please, help me now to recover from some sickness, to pure my lungs , to help me to move farward. Help all my brothers and sisters on this site in all their needs.

Thanks be to the maker of heaven and earth!! I love you Lord and allow others to see the Jesus in me that they might ask what is different about you and I will proudly say>>> Jesus is the answer!!!!!
Thank you so much!

Thank you Lord for everything that you have given me and for making me strong inspite of everything that i’ve gone through. Thank you so much for your undying and immeasurable love.

Lord, fill me with the grace of your Holy Spirit, that I may be always watchful and alert for your coming.

Almighty and merciful God, you willed that the different nations should become one people through your Son. Grant in your kindness that those who glory in being known as Christians, may put aside their differences and become one in truth and charity, and that all men, enlightened by the true faith, may be united in fraternal communion in the one Church. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom, my memory, my understanding, and my will. All that I have and cherish you have given me. I surrender it all to be guided by your will. Your grace and your love and wealth are enough for me. Give me these, Lord Jesus, and I ask for nothing more.
New Creatures in Christ

Thank You Jesus for the blessings of the friends who care about us through thick and thin! May they be blessed beyond measure for the character that never changes…
Jesus is with you

Eternal Father we thank you for all things and your gift of unconditional love for us. your words says that you would never leave us or forsake us and stand on your promises in Jesus name, and we believe your word that the enemy meant it for evil God meant it for good. I realize it hurts very deeply but with God all things are possible, trust God and believe in his word. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
Dear Lord

Thank you lord for all that u are in my life. The mother you gave me 24 years ago recently left us as you know, hopefully in a better place with peace. Thank you for being our strength in this time of trials and tribulations.

Everyday I a reminded of my failures and shortcomings, yet everyday I struggle to understand others. Help me lord to love like you do and to be a person of peace, courage and a sound mind. Help all of us your children to be more like you.
Give us the strength to go on in life even when we feel tired and unable to. There are so many other things to pray for lord, but in the words of solomon ur servant, grant us wisdom to understand and to live by your grace,
thank you lord.
In the name of Jesus

Leaving soon – for me & others

Lord God
help us all to do the difficult thing of completely surrendering to you. In this way we are used as your vessel Lord! I pray you strengthen & guide each of us here so we may do your will , & your will only (for this is what our father knows is best for us too !)

Lord I remember that great song based on revelation – salvation belongs to our God ! …

Praise and Glory
Wisdom and Thanks
Honour and Power & Strength ….

Be to our God, for EVER and EVER ! be to our God, for ever and ever, be to our God, for ever & ever

Praise the Lord

I asked God for strength to achieve success.

He made me weak so that I could humbly learn to obey.

I asked for good health to accomplish great things.

He gave me infirmity so that I could do better things.

I asked for riches so that I could be happy.

He gave me poverty so that I could be wise.

I asked for power so that I could be admired by all.

He gave me weakness so that I could experience the need for God.

I asked for a companion so as not to live alone.

I was given a heart so that I can love all my brothers and sisters.

I asked for everything that could make my life joyful.

I was given life so that I could rejoice in all things.

I received nothing of what I asked, but everything that I hoped for.

And in spite of myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, in fact, the richest among all.

I live alone, dear Lord
Stay by my side
In all my daily needs
Be thou my guide.

Grant me good health
For that indeed I pray
To carry on my work
From day to day.

Keep pure my mind, my thoughts
My every deed,
Let me be kind and unselfish
In my neighbor’s need.

Spare me from fire, from flood
Malicious tongues.
From thieves,
From fear and evil ones.

If sickness or
an accident befalls
Then humbly, Lord
I pray hear thou my call.

And when I’m feeling low
Or in despair
Lift up my heart
And help me in my prayer.

I live alone, dear Lord
Yet have no fear
Because I feel
Your presence ever near.

Prayer of Abandonment

I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you:
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures.
I wish no more than this, O Lord.

Into your hands I commend my soul;
I offer it to you
with all the love of my heart,
for I love you, Lord,
and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into your hands,
without reserve,
and with boundless confidence,
for you are my Father.

Ya Subhan Isa Allah!

Subhana Rabbi yal A’ala!

Be saved my Arab nation!
