God is LIGHT

I stood in the Light of Jesus Christ’s presence,
and saw how His Light is a colour of white seen nowhere in this world – the brilliant colour of purity, of righteousness.  After this, when I prayed to Christ to show me the sin in my own heart, He answered my prayer again –  I had to look away, the blackness terrified me.  I came to understand from this that all my life, I had measured sin according to sin – murder was worse than theft, theft was worse than lying, etc.  And if I only thought of committing a sin, but didn’t actually follow through with it, then this was ok too.  But now I finally understood that by measuring sin in this way, I had only been comparing different shades of black – and only in Christ is there true righteousness, of the purest white.
It seems obvious to me now, but yet I remember how blind I was before Jesus opened my eyes and before He opened my mind to be able to understand.  When we, who are sinners, can already see that sin is dark, then how much moreso does sin appear dark in the eyes of God, Who is completely without sin?  See, a liar and a hypocrite will think he is as different from a thief or a murderer as day is to night.  Yet they are all sinners.  In order to understand the truth about himself, the sinner musn’t try to compare himself to other sinners – instead, he must compare himself to God, Who is completely without sin.
Sadly, men and women have been using each other for thousands of years as their excuse to continue sinning – telling themselves that since their sins aren’t ‘as bad’ as the sins of others, then everything is ok.  They forget that the One Who sees all is the One Who will judge them, and not their fellow sinners who will judge them.  And the One Who will judge them has no sin in Him, no shade of black whatsoever.  So then in His presence, when they appear before Him to be judged, even the smallest of sins will appear as the blackest of black in His righteous presence.
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
I have stood in Jesus Christ’s presence, and have seen His Light – the beauty, the power, the life, the righteousness, the authority that are alive in just His Light alone.
You must repent while there is still time.   If you continue to rely on your self-righteousness to save you, then you will be shocked and terrified on that great Day of the Lord to see just how dark your sins appear in His Presence.
Your life could end at any time – any day, any hour – and then it will be too late.  The time for repentance is now – the day of Salvation is today!
Linda.

John 8 (New King James Version)

John 8

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.
7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
11 She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Jesus Defends His Self-Witness

13 The Pharisees therefore said to Him, “You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.”
14 Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. 15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. 17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.”
19 Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?”
Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.”
20 These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

Jesus Predicts His Departure

21 Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.”
22 So the Jews said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?”
23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
25 Then they said to Him, “Who are You?”
And Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”
27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father.
28 Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. 29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” 30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.

The Truth Shall Make You Free

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Abraham’s Seed and Satan’s

37 “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”
39 They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”
Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 You do the deeds of your father.”
Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

Before Abraham Was, I AM

48 Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”
49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”
52 Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ 53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?”
54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

God Jesus said,

“I am the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE.

No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 14:6

Contradictions in Islam and Qur’an

Alla

Corruption of Quran

The Qur’an is claimed to be a revelation from Allah to Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. It was revealed to Muhammad in stages, taking 23 years to reach its completion.

At no time during Muhammad’s life did he ever order for these alleged revelations to be compiled into a single book. If Muhammad was, as he claimed, a messenger to all mankind, it is perplexing as to why he never gave thought to the preservation of his message.

His followers must solely take the credit of the Qur’an’s existence today and its spreading to people beyond those which Muhammad had initially subjugated. Muslims however would argue that the Qur’an was preserved by Allah as he had promised.

The Evidence from Within

We can prove that the Qur’an was corrupted through many sources, but what is most striking is the evidence from the Qur’an itself. The Qur’an tells us “There were some among the Jews who pervert words from their proper places…”

The word “pervert” in Arabic is Yoharefoon, which means “corrupt”. Therefore, according to the Qur’an, al-Tahreef (corruption) is achieved through changing words from their proper places.

Has the Qur’an been subjected to such changes? Beyond a shadow of doubt, it has. If we read surah 5:3, it says “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed MY favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.”

This was quoted from chapter 5, and the Qur’an contains 114 chapters in total. How can the religion of Islam be completed by chapter 5, when there are 109 chapters yet to come? If it was completed in chapter 5, then there is no need for the 109 chapters ahead.

Some Muslims argue that this verse was the last verse revealed. If that is so, why then is it not placed at the conclusion? This proves that Muslims have changed the words from their right places, and according to the Qur’an, that is Tahreef (Corruption).

The first surah to be revealed was al-Alak, yet it is surah al-Fatiha which we find at the beginning of the Qur’an. Instead, Muslims have placed the first chapter to be revealed (al-Alaq), as chapter 96, towards the end of the Qur’an.

How is this not the changing of words from their right places? This is indeed ‘Tahreef’. Muslims have not arranged the surahs chronologically. They have took it upon themselves to organize the revelations instead of Allah completing this task himself.

Could the Qur’an have Been Preserved through Memorization?

We would say no, as Muhammad himself had forgotten portions of the Qur’an and needed his followers to remind him. This led to him having a “just in time” revelation claiming that some verses were to be forgotten.

What about the great memorizers of Islam from among the Salaf, maybe they had successfully memorized it? Well, that would not work as an argument. The best, and most, of the Qurra’ (“reciters”) had died before its compilation. Abu Bakr even knew that the Qur’an would be hard to collect and that Muhammad had never ordered such an action to be taken.

The Qur’an in fact was not memorized in full by the companions, and for proof of this we need only look to the words of Zaid bin Thabit, the companion who was charged with its collection.

He had stated “I started looking for the Qur’an and collecting it from (what was written on) palm-leaf stalks, thin white stones, and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last verse of Surat at-Tauba (repentance) with Abi Khuzaima al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him.”

Had the companions fully memorized it, why then would they look for verses in leafs and stones? Surah al-Taubah was found with one person only.

Disagreements on the Qur’an and its Burning

During the Caliphate of Uthman, he heard that many Muslims were arguing that they can recite the Qur’an better, and they had differences between them.

Upon hearing this, Uthman hurriedly ordered the burning of both fragmentary manuscripts and whole copies of the Qur’an and sent a message to Hafsa (one of Muhammad’s wives) requesting the manuscripts she had in her possession. Making a codex from what Zayd bin thabit had originally compiled, he gave it to the people.

Even after the final recension of the Qur’an during Uthman’s reign, disputes still came to the fore in respect to the authenticity of the text. A very good example concerns a variant reading of Surah 2.238.

The Qur’an as it stands today, reads “Maintain your prayers, particularly the middle prayer (as-salaatil wustaa), and stand before Allah in devoutness”.

The variant reading of this verse was given by Aisha, according to whom, in this verse it says ‘Asr Prayer’ (salaatiil ‘asri). However, according to Hafsa’s Codex, this was never the case.

Abdullah bin Mas’ud- Authority of the Qur’an and Best Qur’anic Teacher

Muhammad ordered Muslims to learn the Qur’an from four individuals and the first of them was Abdullah bin Mas’ud. So, according to Muhammad, Ibn Mas’ud was an authority on the Qur’an.

Ibn Mas’ud swore that he knew all the surahs of the Qur’an, saying “By Allah other than Whom none has the right to be worshipped! There is no Sura revealed in Allah’s Book but I know at what place it was revealed; and there is no verse revealed in Allah’s Book but I know about whom it was revealed. And if I know that there is somebody who knows Allah’s Book better than I, and he is at a place that camels can reach, I would go to him”.

That is quite a grandiose statement by Ibn Mas’ud, which we cannot disagree with. After all, according to Muhammad’s words, he was one of the chosen teachers whom Muslims were to go to when they desired to learn the Qur’an.

After Muhammad’s choice of Abdullah bin Mas’ud, he was followed by Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa, Mu’adh bin Jabal and Ubai bin Ka’b. What is odd is that we do not find any mention of Zayd Bin Thabit who was ultimately entrusted by Uthman with the task of collecting the Qur’an from scraps.

Ibn Mas’ud’s Disagreement with Uthman

The Qur’an that Ibn Mas’ud had was known and agreed upon by many Muslims. When Uthman ordered that all codices must be destroyed and that only Zayd’s codex is to be preserved, The reaction of Abdallah ibn Masud was great.

“I have not led them [the people of Kufa] astray. There is no verse in the Book of Allah that I do not know where it was revealed and why it was revealed, and if I knew anyone more learned in the Book of Allah and I could be conveyed there, I would set out to him”.

Referring to the authority given to Zaid bin thabit, Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said, “I recited from the messenger of Allah (saw) seventy surahs which I had perfected before Zaid ibn Thabit had embraced Islam”.

When Uthman ordered the destruction of Ibn Mas’ud’s codex, Ibn Mas’ud gave a sermon in Kufa and said “The people have been guilty of deceit in the reading of the Qur’an. I like it better to read according to the recitation of him (Prophet) whom I love more than that of Zayd Ibn Thabit. By Him besides Whom there is no god! I learnt more than seventy surahs from the lips of the Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him, while Zayd Ibn Thabit was a youth, having two locks and playing with the youth”.

Zaid bin thabit was in no place to be a rival to the great scholar and teacher Ibn Mas’ud, and such sermons by him are devastating to the history of Islam and to the authenticity of the Qur’an.

What did Ibn Mas’ud have in his Qur’an that Uthman did not?

Ibn Mas’ud’s Qur’anic text omitted surah al-Fatiha and the mu’awwithatayni (surahs 113 and 114).

When we come to the rest of the Qur’an, we find that there were numerous differences of reading between the texts of Zaid and Ibn Mas’ud. The records in Ibn Abu Dawud’s Kitab al-Masahif fill up no less than nineteen pages and, from all the sources available, one can trace no less than 101 variants in the Suratul-Baqarah alone.

We will provide you with the mention of just a few of the differences here in illustration of the nature of the variations between the texts:

Surah 2:275 begins with the words Allathiina yaakuluunar-ribaa laa yaquumuuna, meaning “those who devour usury will not stand”. Ibn Mas’ud’s text had the same introduction but after the last word there was added the expression yawmal qiyaamati, that is, they would not be able to stand on the “Day of Resurrection”.

The variant is mentioned in Abu Ubaid’s Kitab Fadhail al-Qur’an. The variant was also recorded in the codex of Talha ibn Musarrif, a secondary codex dependent on Ibn Mas’ud’s text, Taiha likewise being based at Kufa in Iraq where Ibn Mas’ud was based as governor and where his codex was widely followed. Surah 5:91, in the standard text, contains the exhortation fasiyaamu thalaathati ayyaamin, meaning “fast for three days”. Ibn Mas’ud’s text had, after the last word, the adjective mutataabi’aatin, meaning three “successive” days.

The variant derives from at-Tabari and was also mentioned by Abu Ubaid. This variant reading was, significantly, found in Ubayy ibn Ka’b’s text as well and in the texts of Ibn Abbas and Ibn Mas’ud’s pupil Ar-Rabi ibn Khuthaim.

The Qur’an we have today was rejected by Ibn Masud, whom the prophet of Islam himself approved of. This tells us that the Qur’an we have is not the word of Allah.

Ubay bin Ka’b

Ubay ibn Ka’b, one of the four which were singled-out by Muhammad, was considered the best reciter of the Qur’an. He was known as Sayidul Qura’ (The Master of Reciters). Umar the Caliph also agreed that Ubay was the best reciter.

Ubay agreed with Ibn Mas’ud and disagreed with Zayd on the following:

1. For the standard reading wa yush-hidullaaha in Surah 2:204 he read wa yastash-hidullaaha.
2. He omitted the words in khiftum from Surah 4:101.
3. He read mutathab-thibiina for muthabthabiina in Surah 4:143.

There are a number of cases where whole clauses differed in his text. In Surah 5:48, where the standard text reads wa katabnaa ‘alayhim fiiha, meaning “and We inscribed therein for them (the Jews)”, the reading of Ubayy ibn Ka’b was wa anzalallaahu alaa banii Isra’iila fiiha, meaning “and Allah sent down therein to the Children of Israel.”

From Abu Ubaid we find that, whereas Surah 17:16 in the standard text reads amarnaa mutrafiihaa fafasaquu, Ubay read this clause ba’athnaa akaabira mujri-miihaa fdmakaruu.

We know that, whereas Ibn Mas’ud omitted two surahs (113 and 114) from his codex, Ubayy included two extra surahs, al-Hafd (the Haste) and al-Khal’ (the Separation).

What is Missing from the Qur’an

Surah at-Tawba was originally equal to the length of al-Baqara, losing about 157 verses.

Abu Musa al-Ash’ari, one of the early authorities on the Qur’an text and a companion of Muhammad, claimed a surah which resembled at-Tawba in length and severity was forgotten and lost.

According to Abu Waqid al-Laithii, Muhammad recited to him the verse on “the greed of man” which read, “We sent down wealth to maintain prayer and deeds of charity, and if the son of Adam had a valley he would leave it in search for another like it and, if he got another like it, he would press on for a third, and nothing would satisfy the stomach of the son of Adam but dust, yet Allah is relenting towards those who relent.” This verse is not found in today’s Qur’an.

The lost verse of Rajm (stoning) which read “The fornicators among the married men (ash-shaikh) and married women (ash-shaikhah), stone them as an exemplary punishment from Allah, and Allah is Mighty and Wise,” was originally found in Surah al-Ahzab.

This verse, along with verses regarding adult suckling, were written on a piece of paper and were lost when a goat ate them. The loss of the stoning verse is confirmed by Caliph Umar in sahih hadith.

Alhajjaj changes the Uthmanic Qur’an

The text we have today is not even Uthman’s Revised Version of the Qur’an, but it incorporates changes by Al-Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf Al-Thakafi.

Al-Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf Al-Thakafi, who lived in the years AD 660-714, was a teacher of the Arabic language in the city of Taif. Then he joined the military and became the most powerful person during the reign of Caliph Abd al-Malik Ibn Marawan and after him his son al-Waleed Ibn Abd al-Malik. Because Al-Hajjaj taught Arabic, he gave himself the liberty to change several words of Caliph Uthman’s Qur’an, which is an indication that he did not believe that the Qur’an was verbally inspired or was inscribed in a “tablet preserved.”

For brevity’s sake we will only mention a few of these changes:

1. In Surah Yunus 10:22, he changed the word yanshorokom, which means “spread you,” to yousayerokom, which means “makes you to go on.”

2. In Surah Ash-Shuara 26:116, he changed the word Al-Mukhrageen, which means “the cast out,” to Al-Margoomeen, which means “those who are to be stoned [to death].”

3. In Surah Ash-Shuara 26:167, he changed the word Min Al-Margoomeen, which means “those who are to be stoned to death,” to Al-Mukhrageen, which means “those who will assuredly be cast out.”

4. In Surah Muhammad 47:15, he changed the word yasen, which is poor Arabic to Asen, which means “unpolluted.”

5. In Surah al-Hadid 57:7, he changed the word wataqu, which means “feared Allah,” to Wa-anfaqu, which means “spend in charity.”

If you read Qur’anic Tafsirs such as al-Jalalayn and others on these verses, you will notice that they will say that there are other readings of these words, proving that there was corruption.

Differences in the Hafs and Warsh Texts

Apart from other earlier variant text, there are two different texts of the Qur’an currently in print, named after their respective 2nd-century transmitters Hafs (from Kufa) and Warsh (from Medina).

The Hafs text is the more common and used in most areas of the Islamic world. Warsh is used mainly in West and North-West Africa as well as by the Zaydiya in Yemen. Here are some of the differences:

Surah Hafs Warsh Notes
2:132 wawassa wa’awsa Al-Dani mentions Abu `Ubayd saw wa’awsain the imam, the mushaf `Uthman
3:133 wasari’u sari’u
5:54 yartadda yartadid Al-Dani quotes Abu `Ubayd saw yartadid in the imam
3:81 ataytukum ataynakum
2:259 nunshizuha nunshiruha
2:140 taquluna yaquluna

Diacritical Marks and Grammatical Mistakes

The Qur’an was written without diacritical marks. At the time of Muhammad, Arabic orthography was yet to develop into what we have known for centuries.

For the early interpretors who added diacritical marks, to read the Qur’an as it was originally written, would lead the reader to interpret and choose for themselves from the many possible meanings available.

Muslims began using diacritical marks because reading “errors” began to appear, and the differences this created had led to differences in Islamic law.

The following are just a few examples from among many grammatical mistakes which show that the Qur’an is not flawless.

1. Sabi’een or Sabi’oon, one must be wrong (5:69, 22:17)

2. Butunihi is a mistake in 16:66. It must be Butuniha, because it is referring to the plural (cattle).

3. Kon fayakoon, meaning “be and it is”, must be kon fakana, meaning “be and he was” in 3:59, because it refers to the past not present.

Corruption of Previous Scriptures

Many Muslims erroneously believe that the Qur’an claims the corruption of previous scriptures. However with this erroneous belief comes a new set of problems.

The Qur’an says in 15:9, “We have revealed the dhikr (reminder) and we surely will preserve it,” but which “reminder” is Allah referring to, and who decided it only applied to Qur’anic text?

The Taurat and Injil are also referred to as dhikr in 21:48, 21:7, and 40:53-54. So if Allah could not protect these dhikrs as he promised in 15:9, how can we expect him to protect the last dhikr?

Allah said he will preserve the dhikr, either he preserves all the dhikr (Taurat, Injil, and Qur’an) or None.

Conclusion

What have we learnt here? We have learnt that some verses are missing, some readings are different, and the very best scholars and reciters of Islam, whom Muhammad himself had approved of, rejected the Qur’an of Uthman.

What are we left with? We are left with a very human text, as prone to corruption as any other medieval text, and Muslims who deny this are left holding an untenable position.

Questions and Answers

Conversation with Linda:

Who are you praying to when you pray?‏

I live my life in prayer to Jesus Christ, with no doubt in me anymore that He hears me and He answers me.  One night, I was given a dream in which I heard with my own ears what Christ hears when He hears our prayers.
In the dream, I was standing outside in the night with a small group of people – maybe 3 or 4.  These people were in some sort of danger, and they were afraid.  I began showing them how to pray to Jesus, how they should call out to Him.  Our small group began praying to Him together.  As we began up to Heaven, praying and calling out to Him, our faith was weak – even my own.  But as we continued to pray and call out to Him, our voices were suddenly joined together as one voice, and I suddenly could hear with my own ears how our prayers to Christ were transformed into this most beautiful, and mighty song!  When I heard this mighty song, I could feel my faith increasing within myself – an awesome feeling I can’t fully describe.  It was not the beauty and might of people’s voices I heard – but the beauty and might of those voices that cry out to Jesus.
Then, at another time and not in a dream, I met this most beautiful woman.  When I say she was beautiful, it’s because I could literally see this most brilliant white of lights that shone from inside her.  She was a Christian lady, and when I met her, she was standing in a room filled with other Christian ladies who also said they were Christians.  But yet this one woman was the only one I could see this light emanating from.  We had the chance to meet on 2 or 3 occasions, and she told me during one of our meetings about a dream she had had.  In her dream, God called her to go stand up on this stage, and begin singing before a large crowd of people.  She said she was afraid because she could not sing, and she refused God.  God commanded her again to go up on the stage, and beginning singing to the people.  This time, she obeyed.  She went up on the stage and began to sing, and out of her mouth there suddenly came this most beautiful and mighty song!  She said it was her preaching of the Gospel of Christ, to these people, that was transformed from her mouth into this mighty song!
After this, quite a bit of time went by before I came across this man who claimed to receive many visions from God.  All of his visions struck me because I could see the truth in them, but this one vision in particular struck me more than the others.  In this vision, he saw Lucifer and his demons descending down on two groups of Christians.  This was a vision the man was given, and not a dream.  Lucifer commanded that the Christians be divided into two groups:  To one side were those who didn’t believe they could conquer Lucifer; to the other side were those who believed they could.  The demons descended first on those who believed they could conquer them.  Right then, an angel of God appeared to this group and commanded them to take out their Swords and begin fighting!  The people didn’t understand, and the man asked the angel, “What do you mean?  What Swords?”  The angel said, “The Word of God!”  The people immediately understood, and together, they all began quoting from the Scriptures in faith, just as Jesus had when the devil appeared in the desert to tempt Him.  Right then, the man said, their voices in this vision were suddenly transformed into this most beautiful and mighty song!  The demons became terrified at the sound of this song, and they immediately retreated!  Then Lucifer was even more enraged, and he commanded the demons to attack the second group who had no true faith in Christ.  The man said what he saw in the vision was a complete massacre of these people in the second group.
Two things occured to me while I contemplated all of this:
What sound is heard when a man calls, not on Jesus Christ, but on a false god?
And since Satan knows he has nothing to fear from those who have no true faith in Christ (though they profess to be Christian), then how much less does the devil have to fear from those who do not believe in Jesus Christ whatsoever?
Some, in this group, have told me that their god answers their prayers just as Jesus Christ answers my prayers.  I haven’t doubted that someone is answering their prayers, since even the devil hears who is calling out to him.  But these same men clearly show by their own behaviour that while this god they pray to does answer their prayers, he simulteneously sows in them feelings of hatred, malice, violence, vengeance.  Since these are all the same emotions that are sown in all the people of the world, then it must be that their god is the same as the god of this world.
If there be any man, or woman, out there who is earnestly seeking the truth – then I pray for you that you will have the courage to test your own selves.  It is easy to face the truth in others – while the majority of people are incapable of facing the truth in themselves.  Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ, that His mercy is new every day and that God desires to forgive us our sins if only we will confess them to Him and repent:
Galatians 5:19-35
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”

How to get out of slavery of sins? Of our spiritual ‘Egypt’? Through TRUST in Ibn Allah because He promissed to resurrect us the same way as He was resurrected. But we will be resurrected to ENTER into the Kingdom of Heaven by being HOLY and forgiven of our sins through death of Isa.

John 1:14 reads, ”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . And the Word became flesh.” He who was one with the Father from all eternity became Man, taking upon Him a human body. He ”was with God” (vs. 1); He ”became flesh” (vs. 14). He “was with God”’ (vs. 1); He ”dwelt among us” (vs. 14).

Before His Incarnation Jesus Christ was in the form of God (vs. 6). From the beginning He had the nature of God, He existed (or subsisted) as God, and that essential Deity which He once was could never cease to be. If He seems Divine, it is only because He is Divine. He is God. So says God in the Scripture.

Isaiah 52 (New King James Version)

Isaiah 52

God Redeems Jerusalem

1 Awake, awake!
Put on your strength, O Zion;
Put on your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city!
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Shall no longer come to you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust, arise;
Sit down, O Jerusalem!
Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion!

3 For thus says the LORD:

“ You have sold yourselves for nothing,
And you shall be redeemed without money.”

4 For thus says the Lord GOD:

“ My people went down at first
Into Egypt to dwell there;
Then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
5 Now therefore, what have I here,” says the LORD,

“ That My people are taken away for nothing?
Those who rule over them
Make them wail,” says the LORD,

“ And My name is blasphemed continually every day.
6 Therefore My people shall know My name;
Therefore they shall know in that day
That I am He who speaks:

‘ Behold, it is I.’”
7 How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,

“ Your God reigns!”
8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voices,
With their voices they shall sing together;
For they shall see eye to eye
When the LORD brings back Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together,
You waste places of Jerusalem!
For the LORD has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The LORD has made bare His holy arm
In the eyes of all the nations;
And all the ends of the earth shall see
The salvation of our God.
11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there,
Touch no unclean thing;
Go out from the midst of her,
Be clean,
You who bear the vessels of the LORD.
12 For you shall not go out with haste,
Nor go by flight;
For the LORD will go before you,
And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
The Sin-Bearing Servant

13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;
He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
14 Just as many were astonished at you,
So His visage was marred more than any man,
And His form more than the sons of men;
15 So shall He sprinkle many nations.
Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;
For what had not been told them they shall see,
And what they had not heard they shall consider.

Commentary: In Isaiah 52 we can see description of the character, appearance and glory of the Messiah. God said through the prophet Isaiah that those that saw Him, said, Surely never man looked so miserable: never was sorrow like unto his sorrow. His visage was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men. But God highly exalted Him. Why does the prophet foretell us that Isa Al Massih should look so terrible? Because before His death
He was beaten, insulted and finally killed on the cross. Isa accepted the sin of the world and made us free of our sins through our FAITH in Him. Isa Al Massih having once shed His blood for sinners, made us free and forgiven of our sins. Let’s read about it again here:
And His form more than the sons of men;
13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;
He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
14 Just as many were astonished at you,
So His visage was marred more than any man,
And His form more than the sons of men;

15 So shall He sprinkle many nations.
Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;
For what had not been told them they shall see,
And what they had not heard they shall consider.

Who is addressing to us in Isaiah 52 and 53? The prophet Isaiah and God that’s why we see among the words of the prophet DEVINE REVELATIONS. Such prophecies God gave us. All these words of God are gathered in the ONE HOLY Book called the Bible. In the verse 9 it reads, “ Break forth into joy, sing together, You waste places of Jerusalem! For the LORD has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.” How did God redeem Jerusalem? God explains us the next chapter Isaiah 53 that the REDEEMER Isa Al Masih should ACCEPT the sins of the world..better to say sins of some people to His HOLY body on the cross to make us FREE of our sins through FAITH in Him. This prophecy said that He should be beaten and tortured before death and burial. But God highly exalted Him. But when many nations will see Isa Al Massih and will be astonished? When kings shall shut their mouths at Him? After the death of Jesus and during the Judgment Day all people will see Jesus because they will be judged by him during the Judgment Day.

Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;
He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
14 Just as many were astonished at you,
So His visage was marred more than any man,
And His form more than the sons of men;
15 So shall He sprinkle many nations.
Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;
For what had not been told them they shall see,
And what they had not heard they shall consider.

Summary: Rasheed is wrong by saying that “From these verses, it is apparent that the speakers are Gentile kings at the end of days.”
We clearly see that the Speaker is GOD who is talking through the prophet Isaiah. The source of information copied by Rasheed is wrong and it is a distortion. Why? Because we ALL can read in English and Arabic to UNDERSTAND clear Arabic and English words said by God! That’s why brothers you ALL SHOULD STUDY the words of God said through prophets in the Bible to see WHY we claim that all Muslims will be condemned by God Jesus during the Judgment Day. Why? Because God said about SALVATION and REDEMPTION of our sins through Isa but if you claim that God LIED by saying that then you are condemned and not redeemed…that’s why you will be judged and find yourselves in hell soon. But if you TURN to God then you will be the small remnant saved by Isa.

Re: Bible’s prophecies

Brothers, WHY do we believe that Jesus is God and Isa Al Massih promissed by God?

Because His life and death were fulfilment of many prophecies of God foretold through God’s prophets.

Let’s read summary again:

Check them all out for yourself!

Isa Al Massih should:

  • Born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:21-23)
  • A descendant of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3; 22:18; Matthew 1:1; Galatians 3:16)
  • Of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:10; Luke 3:23, 33; Hebrews 7:14)
  • Of the house of David (2 Samuel 7:12-16; Matthew 1:1)
  • Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2, Matthew 2:1; Luke 2:4-7)
  • Taken to Egypt (Hosea 11:1; Matthew 2:14-15)
  • Herod´s killing of the infants (Jeremiah 31:15; Matthew 2:16-18)
  • Anointed by the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 11:2; Matthew 3:16-17)
  • Heralded by the messenger of the Lord (John the Baptist) (Isaiah 40:3-5; Malachi 3:1; Matthew 3:1-3)
  • Would perform miracles (Isaiah 35:5-6; Matthew 9:35)
  • Would preach good news (Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:14-21)
  • Would minister in Galilee (Isaiah 9:1; Matthew 4:12-16) Would cleanse the Temple (Malachi 3:1; Matthew 21:12-13)
  • Would first present Himself as King 173,880 days from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (Daniel 9:25; Matthew 21:4-11)
  • Would enter Jerusalem as a king on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:4-9)
  • Would be rejected by Jews (Psalm 118:22; I Peter 2:7)
  • Die a humiliating death (Psalm 22; Isaiah 53) involving:
    1. rejection (Isaiah 53:3; John 1:10-11; 7:5,48)
    2. betrayal by a friend (Psalm 41:9; Luke 22:3-4; John 13:18)
    3. sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12; Matthew 26:14-15)
    4. silence before His accusers (Isaiah 53:7; Matthew 27:12-14)
    5. being mocked (Psalm 22: 7-8; Matthew 27:31)
    6. beaten (Isaiah 52:14; Matthew 27:26)
    7. spit upon (Isaiah 50:6; Matthew 27:30)
    8. piercing His hands and feet (Psalm 22:16; Matthew 27:31)
    9. being crucified with thieves (Isaiah 53:12; Matthew 27:38)
    10. praying for His persecutors (Isaiah 53:12; Luke 23:34)
    11. piercing His side (Zechariah 12:10; John 19:34)
    12. given gall and vinegar to drink (Psalm 69:21, Matthew 27:34, Luke 23:36)
    13. no broken bones (Psalm 34:20; John 19:32-36)
    14. buried in a rich man’s tomb (Isaiah 53:9; Matthew 27:57-60)
    15. casting lots for His garments (Psalm 22:18; John 19:23-24)
  • Would rise from the dead!! (Psalm 16:10; Mark 16:6; Acts 2:31)
  • Ascend into Heaven (Psalm 68:18; Acts 1:9)
  • Would sit down at the right hand of God (Psalm 110:1; Hebrews 1:3)

Do we have any reason NOT to trust God and His words?

Yes, we can do it then we will be unbelievers. That’s why we will FAIL to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

But why?

Because the Kingdom of Heaven is offered to you Muslims!

Come to Ibn Allah and TAKE it. Enter there through your FAITH.

But you reject God by rejecting His Son/Ibn Allah.

HOW can you enter into the Kingdom of Heaven if you REJECT to enter there!!!!???

Make a step of FAITH now and LIVE eternally with your LOVING Father and His Son and the Holy Spirit in YOUR Kingdom of Heaven!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,

but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17

Here I am, Lord.  Send me.

Many are Called, but Few are Chosen…

By Erica

19 Oct

I’ve been meditating a lot lately on the idea of God having a “chosen people.” Recently, when speaking with a friend, I was asked the following question, “If God loves all of His children, why are only some of them called His ‘chosen ones’?” It’s a good question, and at the time I didn’t really have much of an answer for it. The idea of God picking favorites didn’t sit well with me and my mind was struggling to find words that could adequately articulate the truths I knew in my heart about my Lord. So I hit my knees. I prayed and asked the Lord to pour clarity over my mind, and He was faithful as ever…

In Matthew 22: 14 it reads, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” This commonly quoted line of scripture follows the parable of the marriage feast.

In the parable, Jesus speaks of a king preparing a beautiful wedding for his son. He sent out his servants to invite his community to the celebration – but they would not come.

The king again sent his servants to invite his friends to the celebration, further explaining to them the extravagant measures he went to in order to prepare such a beautiful feast for their enjoyment. Again, they wrote him off, making light of his invitation and going about their day. Some were especially hostile and murdered the king’s servants.

The king could not tolerate such vile actions against his people and destroyed the murderers and burned their city, saying “The wedding is ready, but they which were called were not worthy.” (Matthew 22:3-8)

This depicts the reaction of the Jews, the called people of God, to the coming of their Savior, Jesus Christ. They ignored the lavish love that God invited them to partake in, rejecting His great mercy and showing violence to His children. As a result, the Jewish people suffered greatly.

But the king did not stop there. He greatly desired to share the beautiful feast he had prepared with people interested in partaking. So he sent his servants out again, this time inviting anyone they could find.

This represents the Lord extending His invitation to experience eternal life to the Gentiles. The call was no longer exclusive only to the Jews, but to all people everywhere.

And the guests came. They came in droves and the wedding was “furnished with guests”. But when the king came in and saw the guests he noticed a man without a wedding garment. He had the man tied up, taken away and cast into “outer darkness”. That’s not quite the happy ending to the fairy tale wedding I anticipated.

So what, then, differentiates a person between being “called” and being “chosen”? The invitation is clearly for all people, but Jesus says that only a few get to experience the beautiful wedding celebration He has prepared. At this point many people point the finger at God, asking, “Why, if He loves all His children, would He not choose all of us?” But the blame is not His…

The difference between being called and being chosen is what WE choose to do with the call we receive.

God has done His part. He has prepared the way for us to come to Him by sending His son Jesus to die for us. He has commissioned His servants to spread the Good News and to invite all of His children to sit at His table and feast with Him. He has been whispering in your ear since the day you were born to put on your wedding dress, consecrate yourself and meet Him at the altar. Will you answer that call? If you do, I assure you, you will find yourself among the chosen ones, sitting at the banquet table with the Lord. You, my friend, are chosen.

Meet the Gray Family

By Erica

13 Oct

Though you could hardly tell from her tiny figure, Jennifer and Shannon Gray are expecting to have their third child any day now, and today I had the privilege of photographing their beautiful family. But there is more to the Gray family than their striking good looks. Their two children, Jordan and Noah, were fabulous, cooperating with my every request, and Jennifer’s lovely mother even pitched in to help out. The couple, married for eight years, is deeply in love – not only with each other, but also with God.  Both are passionate believers in Jesus Christ and are actively involved in their local church. In a society where families are crumbling to pieces all around us, it is such a blessing to see a young family thriving on the grace of the Lord. It is my prayer that God would continue to bless the Gray family with a double portion of His love and presence, and that they would be a shining example to their community of what a family built on the foundation of God looks like.

During my senior year in high school I discovered one of the most heinous injustices the mind could possibly fathom – the invisible children in Northern Uganda. I stumbled upon the non-profit organization, Invisible Children, while browsing the web and my heart broke as I watched videos and read stories of thousands of children being abducted from their homes and forced to fight a senseless war. These children are ripped from their homes, beaten, drugged and threatened. They witness horrific acts of violence, often watching their own family members slaughtered by the army they must now fight for. My spirit groaned as I saw these vulnerable children abused, and my heart cried for justice. I had to do something…

So I started an Invisible Children club on my high school campus. We met once a week to discuss ways that we could spread awareness about this issue and raise money for the cause. We partnered with Invisible Children’s school reconstruction initiative called Schools 4 Schools, where schools in America compete in the race to raise money to rebuild schools in Northern Uganda, offering these children an opportunity at bettering their lives through education. Our club designed and sold t-shirts and bracelets and held fundraising events. At the end of my senior year we had raised well over  $30,000 to donate to the reconstruction of Sacred Heart Secondary School in Gulu, Uganda. As a token of appreciation for my efforts, Invisible Children sent me a photograph of the students standing in front of their beloved classroom. I have treasured this picture and kept the girls of Sacred Heart in my prayers for the last three years. But that’s not why I’m writing…

Last night, the college-aged church community I am a part of (Crave) held a special service – a service in honor of the “forgotten” in this world. The evening was filled with worship, art, live dramas, and an inspiring message by our Pastor Brad Baker, calling us to be the Lord’s ambassadors of justice. The final event on the schedule for the evening was a screening of the latest Invisible Children documentary. As a made my way towards the theater, I was stopped dead in my tracks as I spotted familiar words at the Invisible Children merchandise table. The words “Sacred Heart Secondary School” were screenprinted across a cute gray t-shirt. I had to ask… So I walked up to the volunteer working the table and asked her what the significance of this school was that it would be printed on their shirts. She informed me that the guest speaker after the screening was an actual graduate of this high school. My heart leapt. “Could I meet her?” I asked. “Of course.” she replied.

The volunteer introduced us and I explained to her my connection with the project. She stared at me, open-mouthed, with tears welling in her eyes, pausing for a moment before wrapping her loving arms around my shoulders. “Thank you,” she said. “for giving me a future.” Speechless, I smiled at her and hugged her back. We chatted for awhile and I asked her about her life. She told me that she lost both of her parents, leaving her orphaned at a young age. She moved in with her aunt, who forced her to work tirelessly, never once showing love or affection to her. Fionah’s dreams of an education were being crushed. Until she heard about a scholarship program through Invisible Children. She applied, got accepted, and began attending Sacred Heart Secondary School in the fall of 2007. Invisible Children has not only paid for her education, but also provided her with a Ugandan mentor  who loves her deeply and cheers her on through life’s struggles. She is now 22 years old, attending college at Gulu University and majoring in Public Administration with dreams of becoming a human resources manager. She has an intimate relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and a strong desire to help other orphans like herself.

Fionah’s story is incredible. She is an overcomer. She is strong. She is joyful, radiant, and beautiful. She also likes boys, and hip hop music and has dreams of her wedding day. She is so much more than just a charity case in a distant land. She is my friend – a friend that I was so blessed to meet, thanks only to the faithful love of our Father.

Words can’t adequately express my joy in meeting Fionah. There’s something so exciting about seeing the fruits of your partnerships with the Lord. It encourages you to move forward. But the truth of the matter is that often our fruit goes unseen. Often times we write a check or pray for someone or share the Gospel, and we never get to see with our own eyes the redemptive powers of God unfold. Let me encourage you! Every time you partner with God, He will redeem. Every time you follow His call on your life, you are playing a role in bringing His Kingdom to this earth. When you move with God, you can change the world.

Who is God of our father Ibrahim? God is LOVE

Prayers

New Year’s Resolutions

Heavenly Father, show us how to set our heart, eyes and mind on you. Let your light of love shine through us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Hearing God’s Word

Almighty Lord,
YOU are the God who gives Life to us, the Spiritually Dead.

I thank YOU that everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved. But Scripture asks, how can these I’m praying for call on Jesus if they have not believed in HIM? And how can they believe in HIM if they’ve not heard about HIM? And how can they hear without someone bringing the truth to them? And how can they hear unless that person is sent?

I ask YOU to send someone into EACH of our lives, someone with the message of Life, the Word of Christ, for YOUR Word does NOT return empty, it accomplishes what YOU desire and achieves the purpose for which it is sent.

Precious Lord, may we ALL hear the Words of Christ, for HIS Words are Spirit and they are Life. May the words that we hear not be stolen from our hearts.

Send someone we ALL can respect to bring ALL of us to the truth.

All this I ask, in Jesus’ Holy Name, AMEN.

Prayer to Not Lose Heart

Almighty Father,
Help us not to lose heart, though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory
that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Father, give us the strength, the courage and the faith to continue holding on to the unseen, and not to lose heart. This, Precious Lord, I ask in YOUR Holy Name, forever and ever, AMEN.

Prayer for the Homeless

Precious Lord,
As Naomi and Ruth journeyed from one land to another seeking a home, we ask YOUR Blessing upon all who are homeless in this world. YOU promised to YOUR chosen people a land flowing with milk and honey. So inspire us to desire the accomplishment of YOUR will that we may work for the settlement of those who are homeless in a place of peace, protection, and nurture, flowing with opportunity, blessing, and hope. This I ask in YOUR Holy, Loving Name, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, forever and ever, Amen.

Help Us to Love One Another

Precious Father,
I come before YOU to ask YOU to help us to love each other as we love ourselves. May the Holy Spirit, who has poured YOUR Love into our hearts, give us YOUR selfless Love, for our love falls far short of the mark.

May those who are married have YOUR perfect Love especially for each other and their children. May every child be considered as YOUR reward, to be loved and nurtured and taught how to live lives that are obedient and pleasing to YOU. May we as a family be united in love.

May we submit ourselves to one another, considering others more important than ourselves, putting the others’ interests ahead of our own. Help us to treat each other the way we would want to be treated in every circumstance.

May our relationships be built on these principles, for if they are, what could ever come between us? YOU, Precious Lord, always know what’s best!

All this I pray, in Jesus’ Holy Name, forever and ever, AMEN.

How to practice the Fruits of Holy Spirit correctly?

Dear Lord Father,

I surrender my whole self and life to you. You are in charge of every single moment of my daily life. Thanks for forgiving my sins, protecting me, and teaching me.

Thanks for the fruits of the Holy Spirit that I received from you. Please help me practice these fruits in my daily life. Help me pursue your holiness and desire your righteousness so that I can be a practical Christian.

This is my new year’s resolution.

In Jesus Holy Name,
Amen

Thankful heart

I’m giving God glory for the many doors He has opened. I have continued to see His gracious hand all around. And i say thank you Abba father, i worship you and give all glory and honor to your name.
Help us Lord to always praise you no matter what we face and to see others through your eyes.
You alone are God..
Phil 4:6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

PRAISE GOD ONCE AGAIN

My Most Precious Father,
I come to you PRAISING you, THANKING YOU,
I ask you to please help me with a problem i was having, and Thank you Father, you answered my prayer as i prayed you would,
You said, you would go all the way with me, and i will never doubt you,My faith is so strong in you, and I LOVE you beyond measure,
You are my all and all and my Protector,
Thank you Father
In JESUS NAME
AMEN

Jesus sits at the right hand of God for us

Jesus it is all finished, you have completed the work of my salvation. You have taken the wrath I deserved and let it be poured out upon your body. I am free to serve in love and free from sin. There is no condemnation for me or those in Christ!! I pray that the blood of Jesus would cover those who are being snared by satan, that you would cast away the evil spirits. You are king and you have conquered and sit on your throne. Free us in Jesus name!

A Prayer of Self-Dedication

Almighty and eternal God, so draw our hearts to You, so guide our minds, so fill our imagination
to control our wills, that we may be wholly Yours, utterly dedicated to You; and then use us, I pray You, as You will, and always to Your glory and the welfare of Your people; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. AMEN.
